  • Traffic Patterns and Student Parking Updates Administration has been working with contractors to confirm what the traffic patterns will be when the new school year begins. The campus map which follows shows the traffic patterns and parking areas designated for students who receive a parking pass. All the spaces around the school will be designated for staff parking this year as a result of changes made to the road. The work at the front of the building reduced the number of parking spaces around the building. Spaces at the front of the building will run parallel to the roadway and, for the most part, be designated for handicap and visitor parking.

  • MTA Summer Construction/Traffic Information During the summer months, there will be a significant presence of construction vehicles on our campus and traffic will be two way at the back of the school while site work is underway around the front of the current high school. The Temporary Main Entrance will be near the chorus room at the back of the building. If you need to come to the high school this summer, please plan for extra time and look for signage to support you as you move about campus. It is imperative that we all drive very carefully when we are on the high school campus this summer.

This is an exciting time in MSAD 75!

Just recently, the residents of the district voted overwhelmingly to invest in building a new Mt. Ararat High School for the students of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell and Topsham.

The new school will be a state-of-the art learning center for our students, with a modern, energy efficient building designed for 21st century learning. Hundreds of hours were spent to ensure longevity and the best return on our investment. This state/local partnership has been decades in the making and we are ready to get going.
Our committee’s interest is in enhancing the student/community experience.
We invite you to share in this exciting plan by supporting some of the most visible components of the project, which include:

  • Dugouts
  • Scoreboards for athletic fields
  • Indoor ropes course
  • Other additional unforeseen project costs approved by the building committee
  • and more....

Mt. Ararat will be a centerpiece for our four communities and draw people from all over. With plans to build top notch athletic facilities, the campus will be a high visibility zone. We’d appreciate an opportunity to tell you more about this exciting project, and all the levels of sponsorship possible in a variety of ways.
Warm Regards,

MSAD 75 Naming Rights and Sponsorship Committee
