The Building Committee membership selection process has also been moving forward. At the School Board meeting January 22nd, the community members selected were announced; Michael Chonko (Topsham resident, parent, MTA graduate, mechanical engineer) and John Hodge (Topsham resident, parent, Executive Director of the Brunswick and Topsham Housing Authorities, skilled facilitator) will represent parents and community members. Krista Chase and Matthew Cook will represent the faculty. The student representative will be announced very soon. Donna Brunette has been communicating with teachers to gain insight on the students who have expressed interest in taking part. She also also plans to contact those students who expressed interest to let them know the process is complete prior to making the announcement. |
