At the August 19, 2015, Building Committee meeting the first draft of the Educational Specifications was made public. The information collected through conversations facilitated by our architectural firm, Portland Design Team, with the public and various MTA user groups (students, teachers, facilities personnel, athletics, recreation managers, adult education, etc.) has guided the writing of this document. The document reflects the themes that have emerged from the conversations with members of the community. Please note, the document is a work in progress. The writing team will refine and add to the document based on the feedback and further study of model schools. Public comments/feedback can be submitted through the MTA School Construction website.
