Straw Vote #1 is set for JANUARY 21, 6-7:30 at the Mt. Ararat High School Commons. PDT Architects will present the overall status of the MTA project and the placement (referred to as "test fit sites") of the new high school within the current MTA High School campus. Straw Vote #1 is used by the Department of Education to confirm that the community of MSAD #75 is in favor of building on the current MTA High School campus. The vote will be done by a show of hands. Straw Vote #1 is open to residents of MSAD #75.
In the meantime PDT Architects, Maine DOE Officials, and MSAD #75 will be having a series of meetings in the months ahead to discuss the Educational Specifications, the recommendation of a new vs renovated a high school, and space allocation. |
